This is the best small bbq joint we ever had. Generous portions of delicious beef brisket. In a hometown atmosphere. And you get a free brownie for dessert!

Stopped into Murray's today - Great BBQ! I wouldn't have expected such great BBQ in a small town - in the middle of nowhere, but you should take the time to travel to the middle of nowhere for this delicious, moist, and well smoked BBQ. Ribs were fall off the bone goodness. Sliced brisket was thicker than most, but not tough at all - didn't even need a knife to cut it. Chopped brisket was great too. Highly recommend this place. The owner was very friendly too. Stop in!

We stopped in at Murray's Bar-B-Q in Cooper, TX on our way home to Fort Worth. Our son had a Half Marathon in Paris, TX. We had read reviews, and decided to give it a try. Boy, was it good. We got a pound of sliced brisket, and our son got a 2 meat plate, with beans and potato salad. We also go to sample a rib, and 2 types of sausage. I especially liked the sausage. Everything was great, and the service was wonderful. Nothing fancy, just good BBQ. Will stop in again, if out that way. Thanks, Judy

Hands down best BBQ in East Texas. If you're driving on Hwy 24, this is a must stop a few minutes outside of town. First visit I had the brisket and pork chop plate with potato salad and beans and it was delicious. The service was excellent! Will be going back again this week!

Murray's BBQ is the greatest place to get BBQ. Sadly they don't have pulled pork but the ham is so good, I am speechless. You will leave here satisfied.😉
